Etten - Lappuggla (Album)

   Η πρώτη φορά που την συνάντησα ήταν κάπου στα 2003 σε ένα από τα άλμπουμ των Film, και θεώρησα πως και να θέλεις να την ξεχάσεις, είναι πολύ δύσκολο με τέτοια φωνή.
Τα επόμενα τρία-τέσσερα χρόνια άκουγα αρκετά θετικά πράγματα που την αφορούσαν, κυρίως μέσα από συνεργασίες με καταξιωμένους καλλιτέχνες όπως η Λένα Πλάτωνος και ο Γιώργος Κουμεντάκης.
    Μετά ήρθε το 2009 και την άκουσα μέσα από την πρώτη της προσωπική δουλεία, I Know You're Behind Me But I'm Not Scared, ένα άλμπουμ που μου άφησε τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις, και κομμάτια όπως το Northern Lights με έκαναν εκτιμήσω ακόμα περισσότερο το ταλέντο της.
Όσο για το καινούργια της δουλεία............Απλά φανταστική.
   Έντεκα Electronic, Synth-Pop, Electro-Folk ? (κατά την γνώμη μου) συνθέσεις, που ''δένουν'' αφάνταστα όμορφα με παραδοσιακά όργανα. όπως είναι το σαντούρι και η άρπα, και σε συνδυασμό με τα φωνητικά της Etten aka Ελένη Τζαβάρα κάνουν το άλμπουμ φοβερά ελκυστικό.
Γιατί όσο πετάει η  Lappuggla, βλέπουμε και εμείς μέσα από τα δικά της μάτια, τα όσα μας περιγράφει η Etten στα κομμάτια της.

Yosebu - Ivy's Bridge

Η ευκολια του βασιλη (Yosebu) να παταει μουσικα σε πολλα ειδη μουσικης ( nu jazz, downtempo, electronic), και η αγαπη του για κινηματογραφικους ηχους, βοηθησαν τον ιδιο να φτιαξει καποια   εξαιρετικα μουσικα κομματια. Ενα απο αυτα ειναι και το Ivy's Bridge, που με το πρωτο ακουσμα κερδισε επαξια την θεση του στα αγαπημενα μας.

Sundayman - Never Coming Back

Composer, producer and sound engineer, Kyriakos Moustakas has been involved in music since his childhood. With more than ten years of studies in piano and music theory, he demonstrated an early interest in Electronic music and quickly became literate in music technology. Apart from his involvement with InHouseMusic, Kyriakos also has a background in discography. Under the nickname “Sundayman”, he has participated, either as a

DILEMMA - Thinking Of You

DILEMMA is a duet from Athens, Greece.This Athenian duo formed on August 16, 2002, by two extraordinary and multi - instrumentalist musicians Sotiris Tragas and Poppy Dalachani. 
Their compositions are influenced by the jazz, rock, art rock, new wave, dark ambient, electronica and classical music avoiding to categorized under only one musical genre.
DILEMMA presents their own angle through their musical stories, their condensed musical fiction.

Liebe - Models (Electronic/Pop)

 Liebe is a duet from Greek art capital Thessaloniki. Their main influence is the sound of the 80's.

Formed by Dimos Zachariadis and George Begas in 2009, they had their debut album "Club Royal" released during 2010 by Planetworks/Universal.

During these last years they 've had the chance of participating in some of the major festivals in Greece, such as The river party, Reworks, Dramaica, Earth wind as well as supporting Schiller amongst others, performing original tracks and video art as well as Pet shop boys, Soft Cell, OMD and Human League remixes.

Their new album "Somewhere in time" is now available at major record stores in Greece by Undo records/EMI.

Stereo Nova - Ένα κλεμμένο ποδήλατο (Electronic)

Στέρεο Νόβα (also known as Stereo Nova, σΝ) was a Greek band formed in 1990 by Κωνσταντίνος Βήτα, Μιχάλης Δέλτα (Mikael Delta), and Αντώνης Πι.
They first began working together under the name Bobby Blast in 1986, writing instrumental, acid influenced electronic music. In about 1990 Κωνσταντίνος Βήτα began writing some lyrics, and the group added them to their songs. They changed their name to Στέρεο Νόβα, and released their first, self-titled album in 1992.
Their music was based on electronic forms, influenced mostly by trip-hop, house, ambient, and techno. The lyrics were usually not sung, being closer to being spoken word or rap.
They released six albums: Stereo Nova, Discolata, Asyrmatos Kosmos, and the drone compilation, Telson, Vitamina Tek, and several smaller releases, before their end as a group in 1997.
Αντώνης Πι left the group in 1996. Κωνσταντίνος Βήτα and Μιχάλης Δέλτα continued for one more year.

Αkis Ballas - Hey (Electronic)

   Ο Akis Ballas είναι ένας δημιουργός και μουσικός με πολλές συνεργασίες και εξαιρετικά δείγματα γραφής "φλερτάροντας" τόσο με την pop, όσο και με την ηλεκτρονική μουσική.Mας συστήνεται μέσα από το "HEY", το οποίο είναι και το πρώτο single, μέσα από το ντεμπούτο album του με τίτλο "Cold Case" το οποίο θα κυκλοφορήσει περίπου τον Νοέμβριο από την  Clubshine Records.
   To Hey είναι ένα electro track γεμάτο ήχους από τη δεκαετία του '80, το οποίο όμως δείχνει απόλυτα σημερινό, χάρη στη μοντέρνα παραγωγή του και τα περάσματα ηλεκτρικής κιθάρας.

Marsheaux - Sorrow (Electronic-Synthpop)

Marsheaux (pronounced Mar-it) is a female synthpop duo from Thessaloniki, Greece They moved in 2000 to Athens, and in 2003 began Marsheaux to express his love for the electropop of the 80's the problem with naming the band was resolved simply by combining the first syllables in the name Marianthi and Sophie
Their first release was a cover of the classic Hot Butter's Popcorn with a great success in Greece They make synthpop music in the tradition of The Human League and Depeche Mode Yazoo OMD did

Keep Shelly in Athens - Cremona Memories (Electronic)

Keep Shelly in Athens are an electronic / downtempo duo from Athens, Greece. Their debut 12” vinyl EP, “In Love With Dusk” released in 2010 and quickly sold-out. It was followed up with a 7” single “Hauntin’ Me” and another 12” vinyl EP “Our Own Dream”.

Smokey Bandits - Son's Lament (Electronic)

The Smokey Bandits is a 14 piece band that moves around a wide music range, from Gotan Project to Calexico, always using in a really imaginative way elements of the Greek and the Balkan music tradition giving a unique and dynamic character to their sound.

The Smokey Bandits project began on October 2007 in the Quasamoto studio in Athens and was finished on 2009’s February with the last compositions and mixes in Thessaloniki. Their sound is inspired by cult movies soundtracks from directors like Quentin Tarantino, Guy Ritchie, Danny Boyle and Pedro Almodovar. The basic idea behind the Smokey Bandits music is to combine music from different decades or even better to give a modern approach to yesterday’s music so that the new generations could easier appreciate. The second idea is to blend 20th century traditional music from all over the world, starting from Greek - Balkan - Mediterranean and reaching Mexican - Surf - Western - Brazilian and Afro Latin.
