The BitterSweet - Dancing in the Zoo

    Οι The BitterSweet μια μπάντα από την Αθήνα δημιουργημένοι το 2007 μας παρουσίασαν το debut album τους το 2012 "Dancing in the Zoo" από την Minos/EMI. Με σαφείς επιρροές από τα 90s και την ψυχεδέλεια παλαιότερων ετών μοιράζονται μαζί μας 12 τραγούδια που αναμυγνύουν το psychedelic rock με το pop με πολύ μεγάλη επιτυχία!
    Αγαπάμε ολόκληρο τον δίσκο και μαζί με εμάς τον  αγάπησαν και οι κριτές με το κοινό του Red Bull Bedroom Jam (ψήφισα και εγώωωωω) και οι The BitterSweet θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να μας παίξουν live σε ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα και πιο πετυχημένα festival που γίνονται στην Ελλάδα το Ejekt Festival 2013. Cabin 54 - Its Not Easy (Pop/Rock)

From the smoky bars and shoddy clubs played on a weekly basis, to the 40,000 capacity Kalimarmaro Stadium as support act for European superstar Sakis Rouvas, one could say that as a Greek live band Cabin 54 has seen it all.
The leap from their beloved stage to the uncertain world of discography proved a large one however, as the boys were torn between the music they felt they needed to make and that which they were told was fit for the Greek market. That dilemma may have slowed down but never threatened to stop Cabin 54
With the songwriting skills of the band and the support of their always enthusiastic fan base, that leap has finally been taken in grand style with their new single, “It’s not easy” - a song that encompasses everything that Cabin 54 is about without compromise; a rock attitude with rhythmic swagger, hints of jazziness occasionally giving way to pop sensibilities, all the while led by the soulful vocals of Antonis Dominos whose lyrics are not afraid to tackle difficult issues head-on.
“It’s not easy” is the first step of what Cabin 54 will prove to be many. The song’s video clip is expected in early September while the full collection of originals will be out on CD by late fall. Until then, the boys can be found moving the masses from the comfortable confines of their second home – the stage. Chances are, they’re doing it at a smoky bar (or stadium) near you.

Matisse - She Bop (Rock)

An awesome cover of Cindy Lauper's She Bop by the Matisse from their album Toys Up released in 2007. Matisse are an English language-singing alternative rock band from Athens, Greece formed in 1999. Matisse was originally formed in 1997 by Aris Siafas, Giannis Massouras, Grigoris Κolias, Petros Tsolis, Kostas Synodinos and Basilis Zervos without making any significant actions as a band. In 2009 the band released their third album, Rock ‘N Roll Mafia.

Film - Alarm (Alternative-Pop Rock)

FILM’s compelling cinematic soundscapes revolve around nihilistic urban settings and inspire celluloid fantasies. The work of this Athenian avant-garde four-piece as it morphs into a nebulous dark-wave amalgamation of post-punk and electronic facets, resembles the mystique of a lost, enigmatic motion picture. Their flickering sequences, somber sonic textures, angelic vocal touches and distorted outbreaks draw inspiration directly from the iconic legacy of FILM’s universally-acclaimed compatriot Vangelis.
Their latest collective effort ‘Persona’ is a commanding oeuvre encapsulating an artistic vision of rare grandeur and amplitude which was hailed in unison by various respected print and online media with enthusing quotes like: ’the top rightfully belongs to the charismatic gang of Film’ (Stereoworld), ’impressive and difficult’ (Postwave) or even ‘an indicator of artistic prosperity’ (Ping Pong Radio).
FILM enjoy a leading status amongst the Athenian indie scene and have enviable live credits with support slots for behemoths such as The Cure, New Order and The Flaming Lips. They have extensively toured Europe with gigs in the UK, Switzerland, Spain, Slovenia and the Netherlands.
