Flakes - Flat C

Flakes are a 5 piece band currently based between London (UK), Athens and Patras (Gr).
They formed in 2006 and have appeared in many festivals and different venues in Greece and abroad ever since (supporting bands such as Bloc Party, Primal Scream, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Foals, Nine Black Alps, Puressence +).
While in the studio for the recording of their debut album Flakes were selected to perform in Exit Festival 2008 (Novi Sad, Serbia) for MTV Live Music Stage.
In September 2009 being the finalists of CocaCola Soundwave Contest v.3, the band had the opportunity to record new material at RAK studios, London.
The recorded track was produced by Helen Atkinson (RAK studios) and mastered by Ted Jensen (Sterling studios)

Monovine - Devil Kiss Gods Lips (punk/pop/grunge)

 

Monovine is a three-piece rock band formed in Patras, Greece in 2008. When first formed, the band’s lineup was consisting of Stratos (vocals, guitar), Xeno (bass) and Giannis (drums - former member of Greek band Serpentine). Through sometime of their existence Giannis was replaced by Sotiris.

Monovine combine rock ‘n’ roll, pop, punk and grunge elements in their music. Their music is usually cited as aggressive.
Most recognized thing about the band. is their mascot: a rat wearing a cape. The band refers to it as “Rat Messiah”.
Their debut album Cliche was released in April Fool’s Day of 2011 by Inner Ear Records.
