Η αλήθεια είναι πώς πριν τους φιλοξενήσουμε, δεν γνωρίζαμε και πολλά για τους Weathers, και τώρα που τους μάθαμε καλύτερα δεν θέλουμε να χάσουμε επαφή με την μουσική τους.
Είναι από εκείνες τις μπάντες που πρέπει να τους έχεις από κοντά, γιατί ανά πάσα στιγμή μπορεί να κάνουν το ''μπάμ'' και να φτιάξουν ένα από εκείνα τα ''διαμαντάκια'' που με το πρώτο άκουσμα κολλάς μαζί του.
Ετσι είναι και το Affliction, που με τις αγαπημένες μας Progressive και Stoner Rock επιρροές του, κάνει τον προσεχή οκτώβρη (μήνας που κυκλοφορεί η πρώτη Full Length δουλειά τους) να φαίνεται πολύ μακρινός.
Οι Weathers σχηματίστηκαν το 2009 στην Κόρινθο, αλλά έχουν σαν έδρα τους την Πάτρα, και αποτελούνται από τους

Υπάρχουν κάποιες φορές που προσπαθεί κάποιος να γράψει για ένα θέμα δυο αράδες λέξεις, και στο μυαλό του υπάρχουν χιλιάδες άλλες, που στριμώχνονται για το ποιά θα καταλήξει στο κείμενο.
Κάπως έτσι νιώθω και εγώ από την στιγμή που αποφάσισα να γράψω για τους Nightstalker, τους πατέρες του Stoner Rock στην ελλάδα, και μία απο τις κορυφαίες μπάντες στο είδος τους στον πλανήτη.
Και αν αυτό μπορεί να φανεί κάπως σε μερικούς.........είναι δικό τους πρόβλημα , πάμε παρακάτω.
Μιλάμε για τέσσερις ''τύπους'' που τα τελευταία 25 σχεδόν χρόνια μας έχουν χαρίσει απίστευτες δουλειές όπως είναι τα ''Use'', ''Just a Burn'' και ''Superfreak'', μιλάμε για τους ίδιους που αν και έχω να τους δώ ζωντανά από το 2009, όσες φορές και να τους παρακολούθησα ποτέ δεν ένιωσα πως έκαναν ''αρπαχτές'', γιατί έπαιζαν για το κοινό τους με τέτοια ενέργεια, σαν να ήταν η τελευταία τους εμφάνιση, μιλάμε για τον Ανδρέα (Bass) και τον Ντίνο (Drums) που δίνουν ρυθμό στα κομμάτια τους, για τον Τόλη που μας ξετρελαίνει κάθε φορά με τα Riffs του, και βέβαια για τον Αργύρη, μια από τις κορυφαίες φωνές και έναν απο τους κορυφαίους Frontman που έχει δει αυτή η χώρα, και όχι μόνο.
Και όσο για το ''Dead Rock Commandos'', απλά οτι είναι ένα ακόμα καταπληκτικό άλμπουμ, με τις γνωστές Heavy, Hard Rock, Stoner ως και Psychedelic επιρροές του, να συνδυάζονται με έναν πιο σύγχρονο ήχο τόσο όμορφα και τόσο απλά, (όπως πάντα άλλωστε ) και με μερικά φοβερά κομμάτια όπως ειναι τα ''Go Get Some'', ''Dead Rock Commandos'' και ''Children Of The Sun'' που λατρέψαμε αμέσως.
<< Για ένα πράγμα είμαι εντελώς σίγουρος για τον εαυτό μου, πως όσα χρόνια και να περάσουν, το μόνο που δεν θα μπορέσει να μου πάρει κανείς, είναι η μουσική που μου χαρίζουν κάποιοι καλλιτέχνες, και πως θα συνεχίσω να τσακώνομαι με τον γείτονα επειδή έχω τέρμα το ''Just a Burn''.

Η γνωριμία μας με τους 1000Mods έγινε πριν από 6 μήνες περίπου, με το λατρεμένο μας Vidage, μέσα απο το άλμπουμ του 2011 Super Van Vacation.
Μια καταπληκτική δουλειά, με δέκα καλοδουλεμένες Psychedelic, Stoner Rock, συνθέσεις, πιστές στα χνάρια των Kyuss των Fu Manchu των Colour Haze, και όλων των άλλων που τόσα χρόνια αγαπήσαμε.

Tuber grew up in a sunny place, south of Greece, in an island called Crete. They were hiding from the sun, jamming in dark studios and playing their music in rock caves. As they moved north, sounds became lighter, since they started miss hot ground. Balance came as a result of smash, dark embraced light and improvisation turned into an effortless and instinctive process. Tuber moved their interest into new forms, founding themselves experimenting with compositions that combine mixed styles and sounds from different ground. Focus is now on rock aesthetic flirting with psychedelic atmosphere and a touch of romantic mood. 1000mods is a psychedelic/stoner rock band from Chiliomodi, Greece. They were formed in the summer of 2006 and since then, they have played over 100 live shows, including openings for Brant Bjork, Colour Haze, Karma to Burn, My Sleeping Karma, Radio Moscow and many others. Their commitment to vintage equipment, thick and heavy analog sound and their remarkably passionate on stage performance is what sets them apart.
In the beginning of 2007 they released their first (self-financed) EP “Blank Reality” on CD, and in December 2009 they stroke back with a brand new 7’’ EP titled “Liquid Sleep”, available on coloured (light green) Vinyl by SuiSound(CTS prods). They also released a limited edition split tape with the German psy-doomsters Wight.
In October 2010, the almighty Billy Anderson, the man behind legendary albums (Sleep, Melvins, Neurosis, Om, Los Natas, Orange Goblin etc…), visited Greece in order to produce the band’s debut album “Super Van Vacation”. Malleus Art Rock Lab took care of the artwork. In September 2011, the German label Kozmik Artifactz released the album on Double Vinyl and the Greek label CTS prods on Digipack CD.
1000mods toured Europe during October 2011, in order to promote their new album. They played 25 gigs in 12 countries. Some of the tour's highlights were appearing as special guests in Up In Smoke 3 and supporting White Hills.

Semen of the Sun is a rock band from Athens-Greece
The band was formed in 2003 by a group of friends in Athens, Greece. The
idea was to play heavy rock music and have fun. This idea remains the
same. The first songs of the band were recorded in the end of 2003 and
the song “confusion” takes part in the first compilation of an
independent label called “Spinalonga Records”. A couple of months later
and after the band had played several gigs in clubs and festivals,
S.O.T.S. get in the studio and with a new line up record a 7-track cd
called “An old dog”.
On March 2008 they release their debut album
“Radio Adult - slow songs, cheese and wine” beloved and supported by Lab
& Spinalonga records.

Planet Of Zeus is a rock ‘n’ roll band from Athens, Greece formed in the year of 2000. Their music is a mixture of stoner rock and stoner metal. Their are known for their full of energy live performances.
